A story of earth and origin. Of rider and horse. Of Ajman — the land where legends never fade.

Zoom Arts & Design was entrusted with the complete turnkey delivery of one of the UAE's most prestigious equestrian events — from the ground up. Before a single seat could be placed or a horse could enter the arena, existing structures on the site had to be demolished. In their place, Zoom built an entirely new venue: a grandstand accommodating 1,200 guests, purpose-built stables for 200 championship horses, and a fully branded, furnished, and catered hospitality village — all designed, constructed, and operated by our team. VIP parking for 120 cars and guest parking for 137 were part of the build, alongside a dedicated drone control area and handlers zone — every operational detail planned and delivered by Zoom.

The village brought culture to life, with 30 local performers introducing guests to the traditions and heritage of Ajman throughout the three-day event. The tent structure received full branding, interior fit-out, furnishing, catering service, and custom decorations — every detail considered, every element executed in-house.

The Opening Ceremony was anchored by a performance from the Ajman Military Band, establishing the tone of pride and pageantry from the very first moment.

The Closing Ceremony was where the event reached its peak. The ceremony opened with a pre-show: local children on horseback accompanied by live singing, setting an intimate, heritage-rich tone before the main spectacle began. Then the arena went dark. What followed was a seven-scene narrative journey — a cinematic story told through performance, projection, drones, and fire. The centrepiece was a custom-engineered 5x5 cube built exclusively for this event, using Showtext projection mesh, with projection extending simultaneously across the cube and the full arena floor to create a completely immersive environment.

The Closing Ceremony was a journey through time, heritage, and identity — told through the story of a girl and a horse. The show opened with children entering the arena against a vast projected desert landscape, accompanied by a live choir and a drone-formed night sky above. One girl remained, tracing Arabic words into the sand — Ajman, its past, its pride, the beauty of its horses. From those words, a horse appeared. Together, they rode through the ages — through desert and sea, storm and starlight — as the girl grew into a woman, and Ajman's landscapes unfolded around them in projection and drone formations overhead.

She returned through the arches of an iconic Ajman monument — now a skilled equestrienne — performing a live dressage act in the arena. Dancers followed, their movement inspired by the geometric patterns of Ajman's architecture, before the Al-Ayyala performers joined in a final gathering of all generations on the arena floor. Above them, 600 drones formed the Ajman logo and the colours of the UAE flag, as flame machines, fireworks, and the night sky brought the ceremony to its close.

The music for the entire ceremony was specially commissioned, including an original song written and produced exclusively for the championship.

As always, everything was possible.
